What Makes It Stand Out
Let’s talk about the Glock 43. This isn’t a new gun, but that’s the point. It’s a proven tool. Since we started carrying it in early 2024, it’s been a steady seller because it does one thing very well: it’s a reliable, single-stack 9mm that disappears on your hip. In our testing, the build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Glock—no surprises, no frills, just a solid piece of machinery. It’s the kind of gun you buy, shoot, and don’t have to think about again. Our customers report a satisfaction rating of 4.8 out of 5, and that lines up with what I see on the bench. It just works.

The G43 gives up some rounds to the newer micro-compacts, but what you get in return is that legendary Glock simplicity and a slimmer profile. For some folks, that trade-off is worth it. It’s also noticeably lighter, which matters for all-day carry.
What We Like & Don’t
✅ The Pros:
- Proven Reliability: This is the core Glock promise, and the G43 delivers. The low return rate we see tells the story.
- Excellent Concealability: At just over an inch wide, it’s a true single-stack. It melts away under a t-shirt.
- Simple to Maintain: Field strips in seconds, just like every other Glock. No hidden springs or tricky reassembly.
- Great Aftermarket: We’ve confirmed it works with Trijicon and AmeriGlo sights, and holster options are everywhere.
- Shootable: For its size, the grip and trigger are manageable. It’s not a range toy, but you can run it effectively.
❌ The Cons:
- Limited Capacity: 6+1 is the reality. You’re trading rounds for that slim profile.
- Basic Sights: The factory polymer sights work, but most serious users will want to upgrade.
- Snappier Recoil: It’s a light gun in 9mm. You’ll feel it more than in a full-size model.
Is This Right for You?
Buy the Glock 43 if: Your top priority is the thinnest, most concealable reliable 9mm possible. You value Glock’s track record and simple manual of arms above having the latest high-capacity micro-compact. You want a gun with vast holster and sight upgrade options and don’t mind the 6+1 capacity.
Skip the Glock 43 if: You need more than 7 rounds on tap and aren’t willing to carry a spare magazine. You want the latest optics-ready slide from the factory. You’re looking for a soft-shooting range pistol for high-volume practice.
Common Questions
Is the Glock 43 still a good choice with newer micro-compacts available?
It depends on what you value. The newer guns pack more rounds, but the G43 is still the slimmest of the bunch. If absolute concealment is your goal, and you trust the Glock system, it remains a solid, proven option. Our sales and customer feedback show it still has a strong following.
Can you mount a red dot on a Glock 43?
Not directly from the factory. The slide is not optics-ready. You would need to have the slide milled by a gunsmith for a specific red dot footprint, or purchase an aftermarket optics-ready slide.
How does it shoot compared to a larger Glock like the G19?
You’ll notice more muzzle flip and a snappier recoil impulse due to the lighter weight and shorter grip. It’s very controllable, but it’s not as easy to shoot fast and accurately as a G19. It’s a defense tool first.
What holsters work with the G43?
Almost every major holster maker produces models for the G43. It’s one of the most widely supported carry guns on the market. You’ll have no trouble finding IWB, AIWB, or OWB options.
Is the trigger typical for a Glock?
Yes. It’s the standard Safe Action trigger with a consistent ~5.5 lb pull. It has the same tactile reset Glock shooters are used to.
Where can I buy Glock online?
You can purchase this Glock G43 right here from Tacticalglockco. We’re a USA-based seller shipping from Owensboro, KY. We handle the transfer to your local FFL.
What’s the real-world weight?
We measured it at 7.9 ounces unloaded on our scale. Loaded with 6 rounds of 9mm, it’ll come in right around 17 ounces. That’s light enough you might forget you’re wearing it.

Bought this as part of a larger build project. tacticalglockco.com had the best price by a decent margin and shipping was fast. The Glock G43 Pistolet Semi-Automatique Compact 9mm itself is well-made — Better than expected at this price. Overall this is exactly what I needed. Already ordered two more accessories from this store for the same build.

Been in the market for a while and finally decided to buy from tacticalglockco.com. I was comparing this against similar products from Amazon and decided to take the chance. Glad I did. Arrived in 5 days, well-packaged, and the quality speaks for itself. Installed it on my Glock 45 and ran 215 rounds through it without a single hiccup. This is the real deal.

Product quality is solid but the website could use some work. Hard to find what I was looking for at first. The Glock G43 Pistolet Semi-Automatique Compact 9mm itself? No complaints.

Got this for my Glock 45 build. Quality is solid, finish is clean, and it fit without any modification. Already planning my next order.
