Description
This is the Polymer80 PF940V2 80% frame kit. It’s for the builder who wants a custom, full-size pistol platform compatible with Glock 17/22 parts. You finish the frame yourself, making it uniquely yours. We’ve had this in our catalog since late 2025 and it’s been a steady, reliable seller. One thing we’ve learned: it mates up perfectly with OEM parts kits. A customer once sent one back saying it was ‘too tight’ – turned out he was trying to use an aftermarket frame. Stick with factory-spec parts and you’re golden.
What Makes It Stand Out
- Build It Your Way: This is an 80% frame. You complete the final machining, which means the finished firearm is not serialized. It’s a true custom build from the ground up.
- Proven Compatibility: Engineered for seamless fit with Glock 17 Gen 3 and Glock 22 Gen 3 OEM slides, barrels, and internal parts. It’s a known, reliable platform.
- Enhanced Grip & Stippling: The frame features an aggressive, textured grip pattern right out of the box. It provides a solid, non-slip hold without needing aftermarket work.
- Improved Ergonomics: Includes a built-in beavertail and undercut trigger guard for a higher, more natural hand position and better control.
- Jig & Tooling Included: Comes with the necessary polymer jig and drill bits to guide you through a proper, precise completion. You supply the drill press or hand tools.

Common Questions
What tools do I need to finish this frame?
You’ll need a drill press or a sturdy hand drill, a vise to secure the jig, and some basic hand tools like a hammer and punch set for the pins. The included jig guides the critical drilling operations. A Dremel tool or end mill is needed to clear the rear rail cavity.
Will my aftermarket Glock slide fit on this?
Most will, if they are made to Gen 3 Glock 17/22 specifications. However, our direct experience shows the fit is most reliable with OEM Glock factory slides. We had a return where an aftermarket frame caused a fit issue, but OEM parts slid right on.
Is this legal in my state?
Laws regarding 80% frames vary widely by state and locality. It is your responsibility as the purchaser to know and comply with all federal, state, and local laws before ordering. We ship only to permitted jurisdictions.
